Wellness Programs
We care about your pets and as they get older, we want to help you plan for adjustments they may need in their diet and overall health. We can discuss a specific plan with you during a complete physical exam. Our staff is trained to help answer your questions about the best type of food to feed your pet according to their nutritional needs.

Surgery
Along with the standard service of spaying and neutering, we provide soft tissue surgery (mass removals, injury repair) as well as some orthopedic procedures (fractures, patellar luxation). Each patient is intubated and maintained on inhalational anesthesia while their vital signs are monitored electronically. We strongly recommend pre-surgical blood work and post-operative pain management on all surgical patients.

Dentistry
Sometimes that “bad breath” is more of a problem for your pet than you may realize. Our staff is trained to recognize the early signs of dental disease in an effort to take a proactive stance against gingivitis. While under anesthesia, we can clean the teeth, polish, and treat with fluoride. Any dental extractions or minor oral surgery can be done during this time. We provide before and after pictures of all dental procedures so that you can see the improvements in your pet’s smile!

Boarding
Dogs: We have 20 new runs in our dog boarding kennel which range in size from 3’X7’, 4’X7’, or 5’X7’. The doors and side panels are 100% stainless steel construction. The flooring is a raised, coated material that provides easy cleaning and a soft, protective surface for our guests to rest on. Because we know you want your dog to feel like they are at home with us, we encourage you to bring toys and bedding from home for their overnight stay. We also walk our boarders outside 2-3 times each day.

Cats: We have 8 kennels in our cat ward with windows to view the “outdoors” while experiencing the safety of the “indoors”. Our staff loves to shower attention on our boarders! Special arrangements can be made for any patient who requires extra attention because of medical or other reasons. We want your kitty to feel purr-fectly at home with us and we are happy for you to bring their favorite play toys with them.

Bathing & Grooming
Our baths are a complete spa treatment. We clean the ears, trim the nails, express anal glands, bathe, dry, and brush out the loose hair. The shampoo we use is hypoallergenic and specially designed for making coats shine. It also gives your pet a clean, aromatic smell.

Our grooming is currently limited to shave-downs and some minor procedures. This service may be expanded in the future.

Advanced Diagnostics
Sometimes after a general workup of our patient (physical exam, blood work, x-rays, laboratory tests, etc.) further diagnostics must be performed to identify some specific problems. In these cases, a referral to a specialist may be necessary. Our role is to provide the best service available for our patient’s health needs and to allow our clients the option to choose their best treatment plan.
